I am looking for information on norman slabs and how they were made. I understand that the glass is blown into a wooden box and the sides are cut. I would love to have a detailed step by step instruction on how this is done. I am also interested in where I can purchase some in the U.S. I know of the place that makes them in England but I would like a place a little closer to my location (I am in Chicago). This is my first post on a forum so please forgive me if this question has already been asked.

I think that Blenko used to manufacture them. BTW, who is manufacturing them currently in England? I could have used some recently!
