I need to cut down Kokomo's 32" x 84" sheet of glass.  106 sheets to be exact.

Basically my issue is ---I need to cut out a pc. that is 17" x 60" from every sheet.
I know how to cut the glass,  BUT I'm wondering if there is a trick to breaking on the long score.  (I can't have many mistakes.)  The runners only take the line up about a foot in either direction
and pulling it to the edge of the table ---  well that's a really long pc. of glass and my arm span is not.

Is there anything I can do to rig my table for breaking along the length or something I can slide under the glass to gently lift and break.

Glass is to expensive to have it break wrong.

Any suggestions welcome...
a local company here said "Cross your fingers and Pray,"  so I've go that under my belt.

Thanks,
Stephanie

If you have the table space, try using a strip of half round trim under the score line and apply pressure to each side.  You could even tack the trim to your table with small brads to keep it in a straight and in place.  Make sure the brads are sunk below the surface to prevent damaging the glass.

More important would be what are the current building codes about using such a large piece of glass in a public building?
