Hello everyone. I have a 1910 home that has a lot of "leaded glass" that has triangular copper curved pieces holding it together. The copper pieces are soldered and are very strong. Unlike leaded glass pieces, the copper pieces have no realbracing and appear to be much stronger than traditional leaded glass. The former owners of the house said that the "leaded glass came from England. Does anyone have any information on this type of glass? I have a piece that is damages and missing a piece of the triangular copper. Does anyone have the copper material to make the repairs? All information would be greatly appreciated.
as suggested, it sounds like "colonial"shaped came. It could be copper or copper plated zinc. I don't think that the English were using this came in 1910. They rarely use it today
