I am making a panel that will be hung in a skylight window
the window is about 3 x 3 or maybe a tad bigger - on a flat ceiling which is raised about 20 feet off the ground. I have typically done foiling method........is there anything I need to do to ensure that the pane is secure??  it will be hung using a wood frame attached to the ceiling (that part I am not in charge of) - the design is of various shades of blue and small bevels (square and rectangular)
thanks for any info anyone can share!!

You may wish to do some research on zinc came and the Chicago Metallic Sash Co. line of products. Order thier literature. There is a tremendous amount of unique materials available to our industry which many of us artists are unaware of.

I recommend using "INNER BARS" which provide strength that far exceeds that of lead. There are a variety of styles such as Low Round and Colonial. You may also wish to investigate drop ceiling principles to assist against future sagging. Good luck and much success.
