Early on the morning of December 24, 2009, Anna Mary Elskus, wife of Albinus Elskus, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at York Hospital in York, Maine. Many in the Stained Glass Association of America were privileged to have known Albin and Anna, who were both exceptional people and are missed by many.
Anna Mary did not want a funeral ? only a small graveside service at Saint Patrick?s in Newcastle, Maine where her ashes will be buried in the spring. In the summer there will be a memorial gathering for her at Long Cove Club in Chamberlain. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Pemaquid Watershed Association, Damariscotta, ME (
