Lead and the EPA
«

Hello.
My question is about what's going to happen with our lead??
Under the current administration and the EPA, I can only see more regulations coming down the pike.
Has anyone beside me,seen this coming, or does anyone have any more information about using our lead?
Is there a site I can go to and read more this??
Any and all input would be great.
Thanks,
William B. Mack

Billy,
One of the many things the SGAA does is monitor the govenment rules and regulations concerning what we all love to do for a living. In 1977 the federal government tried to enact laws that would have effectively ended the trade as we all know it. The SGAA mounted a campaigne that exempted the decorative art glass medium from this legislation. The current board of directors, officers, and staff are vigilant as to the current climate of legislation affecting the trade.
This is another reason for joining the SGAA. The more members we have the more effective is the voice of the organization .
